These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of https://cursor-alternatives.com/ (the "Site"), operated by Cursor alternatives team ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing or using the Site — browsing, submitting a listing, or purchasing a paid placement — you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. The Service
The Site is a directory of AI coding assistants, editors, and developer tools, including tools positioned as alternatives to Cursor. We publish listings, comparisons, and related blog content for informational purposes. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Cursor, Anysphere, or any tool listed on the Site unless explicitly stated.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to submit a listing or make a purchase on the Site.
3. Submitting a Listing
By submitting a tool through our form, you represent that:
- The information provided (name, URL, description, category, images, links) is accurate and that you have the right to submit it
- The tool does not infringe any third party's intellectual property or legal rights
- The tool is not illegal, fraudulent, malicious, or otherwise prohibited under Section 6
We review all submissions and may approve, reject, edit, or remove any listing at our sole discretion, including after publication and without notice. Listing your tool does not guarantee any specific traffic, leads, rankings, or business outcome.
4. Paid Listings, Billing & Cancellation
- Paid (featured) listings are billed on a recurring basis (currently $10/month, or as shown at checkout) until cancelled. Free listings remain subject to review/approval and carry no payment obligation.
- All payments are processed by Creem (creem.io), acting as the Merchant of Record. Creem handles checkout, applicable taxes (VAT/sales tax), invoicing, and payment security — we never receive or store your full card details.
- Cancel anytime via the Creem Customer Portal link emailed to you after purchase. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not refund the current billing period.
- Refunds: Amounts already charged for the current billing period are non-refundable, except where required by law. Cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge.
- We may change listing prices going forward; this will not affect a period you've already paid for.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information about a tool
- Submit malware, illegal content, or tools that facilitate illegal activity
- Scrape, copy, or republish the Site's content or database without permission
- Abuse the submission form (e.g., automated or bulk spam submissions)
- Interfere with the Site's normal operation or security
We may suspend or terminate access, and remove any listing, for violating these Terms.
6. Prohibited Listings
We do not accept listings for tools that are illegal, sexually explicit, primarily designed to deceive or defraud, or that otherwise violate applicable law or our payment processor's acceptable use policies.
7. Intellectual Property
- Site content we create — design, text, comparisons, blog articles — is owned by us and may not be reproduced without permission.
- You retain ownership of content you submit but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, edit for formatting/clarity, and distribute it as part of the Site.
- Tool names, logos, and trademarks referenced in listings (including "Cursor") belong to their respective owners. Inclusion in this directory does not imply affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement.
8. Third-Party Tools Disclaimer
The Site provides information about third-party tools for comparison purposes only. We do not control, test, or guarantee the accuracy, security, pricing, or availability of any listed tool. Your use of any third-party tool is solely between you and its provider, under their own terms.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on any listing. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your submitted content or your violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access, or remove any listing, at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you are an EU-resident consumer, you retain any mandatory consumer-protection rights under the law of your country of residence regardless of this clause.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
